I was born in Latvia - the land of countless choirs and fifty shades of potato dishes. While not taking myself too seriously, my energy goes towards finding new insights and approaches to tell stories.
As a child of actors, growing up between film sets and theatre backstages, I feel that it's a certain privilege to have the opportunity of creating for an audience. The life around me serves as a constant source of inspiration.
So, before I shoot - I watch closely.
